Diagnosing and treating pain is a highly specialized field of medicine. Board certification is an assurance of a physician's experience, knowledge and skills, and indicates that a physician has an up-to-date understanding of procedures and treatment options.
Dr. Martin J. Andrews is board certified by both the American Board of Pain Medicine and the American Board of Anesthesiology. He has been treating patients in Central Ohio for over 15 years. Dr. Andrews is past Chairman of both the Department of Anesthesiology at Fairfield Medical Center and that institution's pain committee. He is trained in virtually all minimally invasive pain procedures, including spinal cord stimulator and intrathecal pump implementation. Dr. Andrews has also served as anesthesia team leader on numerous medical missions to Latin America with Operation Smile, providing anesthesia for cleft lip and palate repairs in children.
